What We Do Before We Start

Before any work begins, we lay dust sheets across your driveway, pathways, and any garden areas adjacent to the work zone. Render splatter on paving or planting isn't just unsightly — it can be genuinely difficult to remove once it has cured. Prevention is always better than correction.

We also protect your windows and doors with masking and sheeting. Silicone renders in particular can be challenging to remove from glass once they have set, so this step is non-negotiable on every job we carry out — whether it's a two-day patch repair in Accrington or a ten-day full render in Skipton.

During the Work

Our team tidies as they go. At the end of every working day, we consolidate waste materials, remove any render packaging, and sweep down the immediate work area. You shouldn't come home to a building site after each day — the job itself may be ongoing, but the surroundings should be as clean as we can reasonably make them.

For larger projects — full house renders and single storey extensions especially — we use a dedicated waste skip positioned to minimise disruption to your household. We manage the skip booking and removal as part of our service.

At Completion

The final clean-up is thorough. We remove all sheeting, masking tape, scaffolding (where applicable), and any remaining materials. Pathways and driveways are swept and rinsed. We do a walk-around with you before we leave, checking every elevation and picking up anything we might have missed.

We also check your windows and doors for any overspray, and clean these off before we go. This final check is important — it's our last chance to make sure the job is not just technically complete, but properly finished.
