Cooke Rendering & Construction (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a sole-trader construction business registered in England, trading from Barrowford, Lancashire, BB9 8PE. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

2. What data we collect and why

Enquiry / quote requests

When you complete our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you’re interested in, and your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — responding to a pre-contractual enquiry.

Telephone and WhatsApp contact

If you call or message us directly, we retain your number and the content of the conversation in order to manage your project.

Website analytics

We do not currently use any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and display a consent banner.

3. How long we keep your data

Enquiry and quote data is kept for up to 3 years after our last contact, so we can refer back to prior discussions if you return to us. Project-related records (contracts, invoices) are kept for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements. After these periods data is securely deleted.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• Resend — our transactional email provider, used to send confirmation emails when you submit an enquiry. Data is processed in the EU/UK. See Resend’s privacy policy.
• Vercel — our website hosting provider. Your IP address is processed transiently to serve web pages. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify any inaccurate data.
• Erase your data (where no overriding legal obligation requires us to keep it).
• Restrict or object to our processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any right, email us at cookerendering@mail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

6. Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (e.g. security tokens). No marketing or analytics cookies are set. You do not need to consent to use the site.
